Nothing better than friends coming over for a visit in your new city, we had a perfect long weekend together from Thursday evening to Sunday morning. That time included a lavish amount of eating, drinking and talking. This was a great and much needed weekend; I miss those girls so much in my everyday life it was an amusement to catch up on their lives and future planes.
Who knew that my head was utterly destroyed mixing between, Spanish, Norwegian and English language.
Meat Heaven in Madrid
We had an unforgettable meeting with the Argentinean parrilla in El Gaucho. What better to do, when one can’t eat milk the other can’t eat cheese, then it has to be meat for dinner. The steaks have been boosted with attention and perfect tenderness between the mouth; we love it when the meat tastes like butter in consistency with a sensational meat flavor on top.

Viet Nam
With another rainy day, we went for Vietnamese food and hot soup at Vietnam. We were delighted with our choice! The dumplings were fantastic, and the spring rolls colorful and tasty.
El Hortera
It is so tacky that it is almost good. El Hortere is a fun place to start for pre-drinks.
Temple of Debod
Where is it? It is her; this is it. I know it’s not the Egyptian pyramids but it is a temple from Egypt.
