7 Essential Beach Items You Must Have!

May 21, 2017
7 Essential Beach Items you must have! From Miami to South America to the world!

Essential Beach Items is the things that can destroy a good day at the beach if lacking. How boring isn’t it when you don’t have music or even manage to forget your bikini at the beach? After traveling to some beaches in the world, I have created a checklist for my seven essential beach items: That makes sure that the blissful day at the beach will stay joyful.

 7 Essential Beach Items
You Must Have!

B.E.A.C.H

BEST ESCAPE ANYONE CAN HAVE

Arriving at Beautiful Miami where everyone is Hot, including You! Get ready to hit South Beach or Hollywood Beach. Remember to grab those essential beach items for an excellent day at the hottest beaches in Florida or anywhere around the world. Miami is the greatest place for sunbathing and people watching! Don’t matter where in the world, either way, you have to bring your beach items!! Get ready now!

1.  Music: Create a Beach Playlist with SoundSystem

Either cruising along the Keys in Florida and making beach-stops along the way or being in an Island Paradise in Colombia. There should always be music! Even in Playa del Carmen in Yucatán –  You should have your music! Why? Because it is a bummer when there is no music in your life. It’s even more of a bummer when the person next to you are playing pointless music that you don’t like. Of course, you can just move, but you have the perfect spot! Put on that rad playlist you created and stay cool!

Pasito a pasito, suave suavecito
Nos vamos pegando, poquito a poquito
Cuando tú me besas con esa destreza
Veo que eres malicia con delicadeza

Personally I’m not much of a reader when being at the Beach. I will share my playlist that I’m listening to now. Sometimes It is cool to discover new music! If not, you can switch right back to your own music! And just decided that you are the DJ of the beach today.

My first Playlist: El Sensual – Which is the greatest playlist for Latin Music. If you are in Miami – the capital of Latin America in North America. Definitely listen to this playlist and you are more or less in South America right at South Beach! Suddenly you turn around they are speaking Spanish from Colombia, Valenzuela and Cuba. This is why I love Miami, it is a multicultural melting pot from all over the world! Everything is very open and relaxed.

My second Playlist: SHAME – Which is the ground breaking multi-platform teen drama that’s become Scandinavia’s TV hit of the year, is to be produced for American and English-speaking audiences by Simon Fuller’s XIX Entertainment. It has some of the coolest music out there collected on this playlist.

Shape of you by Ed Sheeran is definitely also a Winner this Summer!

2. The Beach Dress

Bring that cute dress that can easily be pulled-over the bikini before hitting a lunch spot at the boardwalk. Indulge in tasty delicious food and great frozen Margaritas at Casablanca Cafe at Central Beach in Fort Lauderdale. Or just use the beach dress to cover up at some exotic beach in the world.

The beach dress is perfect for covering up when the sun starts to burn the skin or you want to change back to normal underwear.

When you are not having the dress on you can use it for your head-piece to protect your hair, face or even make a small pillow. Sometimes I look a bit crazy, when using it as a turban/ Sun hat – I don’t worry: I’m beach happy!

Sometimes, I like to be a bit hobo! 🙂 Sometimes it is more about comfort & practical wear than style.

3. Put on a Stunning Bikini & Be Fabulous

What ever you do, where a bikini that make you feel comfortable & fabulous! If not go and find one! You should feel spectacular in your bikini, doesn’t matter shape or size, because there are as many bikini options that there are bodies. Keep looking!

When you have smile on your body it is time to buy! This year I discovered this absolutely cool bikini brand from Colombia – Agua Bendita! My bikini from Agua Bendita makes me feel like a Queen on the beach!

4. Sunscreen

Who want’s to stay young and beautiful? Well then put on sunscreen and protect your beautiful skin from harmful UV Rays. Skin Cancer rates are on the rise and this is why we need sunscreen. It has been proven that sunscreen decrease the development of skin cancer.

My Favorite Sunscreen – Shiseido:

If you want the extra glow when laying on the beach, I would recommend the Bali Body and their Cacao Tanning Oil that provides the perfect hint of tint while sun-tanning. It is 100 % Natural oil is anti-viral & quickly penetrates, making it prime for skin rejuvenation & general skin glowing goodness.

5. H2O & Coconut Water

Electrolytes from young green coconuts –  Boost hydration!

Dehydration can easily happen on the beach. That is scary! Please bring water and stay hydrated! If you are at the beach why not grab one of those freshly coconuts that are low in calories, naturally fat- and cholesterol free, more potassium than four bananas, and super rehydrating. A well known tips is that the coconut water is The Ultimate Hangover Remedy.

I confess. It was coco loco but with coconut water 😉

6. Sunglasses

We don’t want wrinkles around our eyes? Do we? Then is why we need to protect our beautiful eyes when being in the sun. Our eyes are sensitive. Wearing UV-protective sunglasses with large lenses can not only protect your eyes, but they’ll protect your skin, too. I think the most important is to find glasses you are comfortable with and of course that the glass is high-quality that protect your eyes with 100% UVA and UVB protection.

7. Snorkeling Gear

This is maybe not the most necessary beach items to have. If you are cruising down the Key’s of Florida and visiting John Pennekamp Coral Reef then you save 15 US with bringing your own gear. This is the best snorkeling experience I had in the United States.

I’m half-mermaid and by this I always bring around my snorkeling gear because I never know when I will discover something fascinating underwater. One of my best snorkeling experience has also been at Anthony Quinn Bay in Rhodes. Surrounded in fishes and crystal clear blue water from the Mediterranean sea. Then again Thailand is always great for snorkeling! Of course Galapagos is on another level. This why I most of the time bring snorkeling gear, because I prefer to have it instead of regretting that did not have it. That is just me the mermaid that always decide for the beach instead of other things.

Forgetting your phone is easy in Cuba. Forgetting time is easy in Cuba. It’s complicated to let go of the challenge of life, like some places do not have electricity and cellphone service, and gasoline is more challenging than ever and som have very little. However food is always here, as long you are a tourist and can buy food. If you are inventing new recipes you are also good. #cuba #cubatravel #cubaporlavida #travelcuba #cubatrip #havana

I have always been fascinated by Cuba. It is a place where you become much more aware of how much you have and how lucky you are with all your things. It teaches you to be happy about simpler things, it teaches you to be present, and most of all, to go with the flow. Traveling to Cuba is different but beautiful. #cuba #visitcuba #havana #cubatravel #meaningfultravel
