Greece Itinerary 10 DAYS - by Island Hopping from Santorini to Antiparos, Paros and returning home from Athen.

Go Exploring the Great Greece

by Island Hopping from Santorini to Antiparos, Paros and returning home from Athen.

Day 1 Santorini – Firá & Oía with Sunset

We decided to stay in Imerovigli which has a great sunset view. Perfect place in the middle of Firá and Oía. Midday on our first day we decided to be crazy and do the Firá to Oiá walk in 32 degrees and Sunshine. Which was a spectacular view for our souls not for our bodies. The priest halfway saved us with some shadow and private tour around the church. He was talking about drinking wine with no control and life as it should be.

The hike is incredible and offers a true taste of Aegean experience with the volcano landscape and the villages of Firestefani and Imerovigli. The hike includes a spectacular view with cliff-top walking, azure Aegean sea as far as your eyes can see. The Reward is sunset at Oía, which is famous for some of Greece best sunsets. Walk around and take Extensive pictures of Oía.

7 Crucial things to do in Santorini

Day 2 Santorini – Exploring with ATW

When only having 48 hours in Santorini, there is no time to lose. This is why the best choice is to rent an ATW and go exploring and check of your bucket list:  Red Beach, Kamari Beach, Mesa Gonia, Exa Gonia, Santo Vinery and Sunset view. My highlight of the ATW tour was Santo Winery, not just because of the wine, but because of the majestic view of the Aegean Sea and Santorini itself.

Day 3 Santorini to Antiparos – Boat Trip

Before hitting the taxi down to the new port. Take a walk around Imerovigli and get crazy with the camera. There is nothing to miss because everything you see is pure beauty for the eye. Enjoy your 2 euro Gyros for lunch and be ready for the 4 hours boat trip to Paros. When entering Paros port look for the small boat that goes to Antiparos. And enjoy 15 minutes boat ride to the island of tranquility.

Day 4 Antiparos the Island of Tranquility

Antiparos we love you by all our heart. This is the island to forget everything and do nothing.

The days melt from one to the next, filled with big blue skies and endless miles of aquamarine coastline blessed with some of Europe’s cleanest beaches. Many travelers simply settle down and never go home – by Karina Miller

Antiparos the island of tranquility that are sometimes forgotten in the light of Paros. That is why we loved it

Day 5 Beach & more Beach

To be honest we where terrible explorers when being in Antiparos. We pretty much did nothing more than beaching. We went to the closest beach that we could see from our room. When we entered the beach we where in Peace. Perfect clear water, clean bech and nothing more to ask for. Spent our day watching people kiting from Paros to Antisparos; maybe on of the world’s top kite surfing places. Let’s not forget the big yachts coming in for a swim.

Discovering Klimataria

We really forgot the days in Antiparos. Our only big problem was where to eat our dinner. Then food heaven listen to our prayers or more our Greek host telling us that the best place to go is Klimataria Tavern. Speaking of local flavors in our belly, our favorite dish was fried feta cheese with sesame seeds and honey. Oh lord, can I eat it for ever? A delicious combo that we kept on eating during our stay on the island.

Antiparos the island of tranquility that are sometimes forgotten in the light of Paros. That is why we loved it

Day 6 From Paros to Antiparos

We deiced to go with the local ferry and from their take the bus in to the city of Paros. Entering Paros: let me say this pre-book your hotel in high season. You save yourself from stress and walking in the streets finding a place to stay. In the end we ended up with good deal.

10 Days Greece Itinerary in Cyclades & Athens - Leaving Antiparos

Day 7 Paros Beach & Sunset Cocktails

We pretty much continued our tranquility from Antiparos, going to the beach and enjoying the saltwater, vitamin D and relaxation. Sadly there was no exploring around the Island. The only thing we did know: Was the we wanted to go back to Antiparos. Because of that it was time for a boat trip with Captain Ben.

Paros was okay, but for us we knew our paradise was Antiparos. When in Paros it is charming to walk around in the old town and get lost as you always due with the small streets that has never ending and continue around the corner. We also enjoyed the sunset in Paros, but were still longing back for Antiparos.

Day 8 Captain Ben Around Antiparos

In our guiltiness for nothing do much we arranged our-self on a boat trip with Captain Ben! Which also would put us back to Antiparos and our favorite eatery Klimatateria. What a great day! Crystal Clear Blue Water and a great vibe of life. Swimming, dancing, drinking and enjoying it to the fullest. On our way back to Paros with the ferry we hit our best sunset in Greece.

Day 9 Paros to Athens

Leaving Paros in the morning, arriving Athens by midday. We went with the subway from the Port to our hotel The Stanley. Which was a convenient place in the middle of the city center. We did not rest much when we entered Athens. With only 8 sizzling hours in Athens, it was straight away exploring and even putting in the mesmerizing Acropolis with sunset view.

A Norwegian Travel Voice & Trying to Impact the World by Nudging People to Choose More Sustainable Travel.

I’m shaped by nature. I grew up at the edge of th I’m shaped by nature.

I grew up at the edge of the Stadt peninsula — where the ocean doesn’t negotiate and the wind decides your plans. You learn early to read the sky. To sense the shift before the squall rolls in. To move before the door is pushed open.

The weather isn’t small talk at the coast.
It’s strategy.
It’s timing.
It’s survival.

And the women knew it best.

While the men were at sea, coastal women held everything together — land, livestock, homes, children, community. They didn’t call it resilience. They simply lived it.

They understood something very important that we need to remember well.

You don’t dominate nature.
You collaborate with it.

Today I live in the Lofoten Islands, again surrounded by strong coastal women. Different generation. Same backbone.

To adapt when conditions shift.
To build with the landscape, not against it.
To know when to move — and when to stand firm.

To me, that is a coastal inheritance.

The coast teaches you self-efficacy. Patience. Awareness. Respect.

It shapes women who know that sustainability isn’t about control — it’s about relationship.

And that’s the spirit I carry into my work, my travels, and the future I’m building.

Thank you @dino.serrao for capturing my coastal spirit in this portrait.
2025 was rich in good memories, wonderful times wi 2025 was rich in good memories, wonderful times with family and friends! It went so fast! Many highlights this year! And many great hikes even in Lofoten and Sunnmøre!

2025, I have used less time on my phone more flight mode, more with just being. It will continue onward for 2026. I’m still traveling and doing many mini adventures. Mostly being with loved ones.

In April we were in Cuba, which always disconnect but reconnect you much better with what matters and the importance of being grateful and appreciating what you have in Life. When we travel, how can we travel well, how do we show up at a destination.

My last international travel this year was Lanzarote, famous for its landscape and architecture. Best of all traveling with my sister. We used public buses, eat at different local places and guided tour to the national park. What an island!

I think one word that has been important this year for me is mindful. Be aware, be curious, ask open questions, reflect more before speaking and listen.

Being in nature is the best gift for human nature. We must visit more often. We must focus on our sleep quality.

I think 2025 have been a year of flowing and protecting my energy on what sparks joy to me. The most limited resource we have is time. How can we live the most happy with the time we have. How can we use our time and energy well.

2025 I’m very grateful for the year it was a blessing filled with love laughters, friendship and some important life reflections and some new changes.

2026, welcome let’s embrace and see where the wind takes us this year!

Wishing you all the very best new year filled with abundance, hope and peace. May the year be as good as you want it to be! Or even better as magical as you want ✨🤩
October disappeared in the blink of an eye! 😃 The October disappeared in the blink of an eye! 😃 The start of the month was breathtaking in Lofoten. We welcomed German travel experts for a MEGAFAM trip in the Lofoten Islands and had a blast connecting with new faces and industry colleagues. Truly amazing!!🤩 #lofoten #lofotenislands #megafam #lofoteninfo #visitnorway
Greece is always a good plan! This time we went is Greece is always a good plan! This time we went island jumping to Skiathos and Skopelos. You know the Mamma Mia Islands 🌞 Also Athens, but next post. I think Skopelos has the clearest water I have seen in Europe. So stunning so pure, wow! So green the Island. Could have been away longer as always, but now living slow cabin life before hitting back North. #islandescape #greece #visitgreece #skiathos #skopelos #islandsofadventure
