Iguazu falls Argentina

May 1, 2015

Argentinean side of Iguazu falls; what can I say, it was massive and it was increíble. I’m so happy that I went to see it. There is nothing more to do in Iguazu City then just watch the falls, pretty much. Anyway what a fantastic thing to have seen, Iguazu falls is amazing!

I will definitely recommend as a must see in Argentina. We also got to know our new friend from Colombia. Vicky and me, we practiced so much spanish the whole day. So much fun and the words we love and always end up using are:  Que bueno, Que Lindo, Es possible, Dale, Vamos, Increíble, Es nesesario y claro – Buena onda! … Hahah amazing conversation with those words. Enough with the talking, here are the pictures, I think they will tell the rest of the story.

How did we do it,

and how much did we spend at Iguazu falls

We went with airplane just because we are suckers for comfort and short travel time. So two hours in an airplane we arrived Iguazu, it cost 2 500 NOK a bit expansive for our flight ticket (Ida y vuelta), then again, no 17 hours bus ride. The price is almost the same. Well spent money. Taxi from the airport 260 pesos/ 4 persons – (2015). Back to the airport only 180 pesos/ 4 persons.

Day 1

We decided to take a taxi to the Brazilian side, maybe not the best decisions since 400 pesos (2015), is ridiculous expensive. The taxi driver was so much fun and the taxi was so convenient for us. Brazil side of Iguazu falls the entrance was around 20 USD then we had lunch for 25 USD, then we just walked around and had #shitloads of waterfalls and was very happy about that. Returned back to our hostel had a bottle of wine and dinner for 105 pesos for each of us. Not good food, it did do it´s job. The wine was tasty as always. We went to bed, and made ourself ready for a new day.

Day 2

We decided to take a taxi we paid 100 pesos (Ida y vuelta). Argentinean side of Iguazu falls the entrance was 260 pesos (2015) then we decided to go on the boat trip for 270 pesos in the falls (2015) were you also get a free shower. Once again, well spent money. It was such a fun experience. On our way back we did stop by subway and had lunch for 95 pesos (2015). We did lower track first with the boat trip, then we did the train and finished it of with the upper track. We used around 5 – 6 hours on the Argentinean side of the falls.

Maybe not the cheapest way. It was very convenient and no stress around it, and sometimes that is worth more than the money.

Forgetting your phone is easy in Cuba. Forgetting time is easy in Cuba. It’s complicated to let go of the challenge of life, like some places do not have electricity and cellphone service, and gasoline is more challenging than ever and som have very little. However food is always here, as long you are a tourist and can buy food. If you are inventing new recipes you are also good. #cuba #cubatravel #cubaporlavida #travelcuba #cubatrip #havana
