 The Heart of Fjord Norway

From Aalesund 2 h 18 min and 1 Ferry

Road Trip Geiranger Fjord & Dalsnibba Sky-walk from Alesund (Ålesund in Norwegian). Go with your family, friends, or solo. I went with my grandparents. We had a fantastic day in the heart of Fjord, Norway, which is also known as the UNESCO World Heritage Site Geiranger Fjord.

We spend our day in the fjord and Dalsnibba, Europe’s highest fjord view from a road. It was fun to rediscover the Geiranger fjord and experience Dalsnibba for the first time with my grandparents. I thank them for a great trip to the Norwegian fjords and mountains.

The Geiranger fjord and Nærøye fjord areas were inscribed upon the UNESCO World Heritage List 14th of July 2005. These fjords areas are a natural heritage of outstanding universal value to be protected for the benefit of all humanity.

Are You Returning to Alesund or On to the Next in Destination in Norway?

From Dalsnibba, you have many new destinations to reach, you have beautiful Stryn close to you, or you can continue to Lom and their famous bakery or either go back to the capital, Oslo. I love Google; it will take you to your next destination or back home to Aalesund. I would leave that job up to Google and you to decide on your return.

Have You Been or Want to Go on a Road trip Geiranger fjord & Dalsnibba?

Suppose you can’t have the time to perform a Road trip, Geiranger fjord & Dalsnibba from Aalesund. The second option will be to go with Hurtigruten, a Norwegian cruise line. Check out their Instagram for some inspiration. Or you can go and discover my local tour in Fjord, Norway, or go hiking in the Alps of Sunnmøre. When being in Norway, there are different options. Fantastisk! Et nydelig stykke norsk natur 😀 Jeg har vært i Geiranger for noen år siden, men synes det begynner å bli på tide med en ny visitt. Det er jo så vakkert!

We did stop at Flydalsjuvet as well 🙂 I forgot to put on Flydalsjuvet above the picture. I did it now, thanks to you. If you are on the cruise ship, you have the choice to go on a bustrip to Flydalsjuvet and Dalsnibba. I hope you had an amazing time in my country, Norway. Out of curiosity – How did you find this blogpost? 🙂

On the bus ride up to Mt. Dalsnibba, our bus pulled over for a photo stop at Flydalsjuvet, the scenic overlook of Geiranger and the end of the Geirangerfjord where the cruise ships dock. Most excursions, whether by cruise ship or not, will stop here for the photo op. It’s 4-5km from where the ships dock and uphill so I’m not sure if anyone, at least from the ships, climb up here or not.

Forgetting your phone is easy in Cuba. Forgetting time is easy in Cuba. It’s complicated to let go of the challenge of life, like some places do not have electricity and cellphone service, and gasoline is more challenging than ever and som have very little. However food is always here, as long you are a tourist and can buy food. If you are inventing new recipes you are also good. #cuba #cubatravel #cubaporlavida #travelcuba #cubatrip #havana
