When something bad turns right, and 70 artists representing 20 countries creates magic on 85 000 square feet of walls. Then you have the new Wynwood Art District in Miami that changed.
Wynwood Area was a crime scene and consisted of no pedestrian activity, but now it has changed to something new and vibrating.
The Goldman Family wanted to highlight the authentic Wynwood neighborhood and has today created an Art District. Six separate warehouses create the Wynwood Walls, one of the greatest street art collections ever assembled in one place.
Now it is the eclectic part of Miami, indulged with color, life, innovation, and personality. It´s where a new generation of creatives and entrepreneurs want to live, work, eat, play and learn.
What to do in Wynwood Art District
Before getting lost in all the great artwork. Dive into some divine 48-hour crispy pork, fish tacos and chunky guacamole at Wynwood Kitchen & Bar.
Then be ready to be mesmerized by the Art from all over the world. My personal favorite was from Chile. Keep on walking until you find your favorite. Then take a minute or 5 to enjoy it.
When in need for a break, make a coffee stop at Panther Coffee. Specializing in small-batch roasting from Brazil, Guatemala, and Niguarage. To make everything better get a cupcake and smile.
When happy with that get lost there or get out.
Any favorite Art District in the World?
